The Black Cooperative Investment Fund: 3 Things You Need To Know

- Advertisement -spot_img

How I Found Out I was speaking with one of my lawyer friends about some business matters and he told me about the Black Cooperative Investment Fund (BCIF). So, what is the BCIF? He told me that they were going to host a salon TONIGHT, 1/11/18, in Los Angeles, California. Instantly, I conducted research. I wanted to know what is the BCIF, when is the event, and where can I purchase tickets.

1. What Is BCIF

The BCIF is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that was founded in 2016 and launched in January of 2017. The BCIF provides loans for members of the Black community so long as there is a strong likelihood of you building financial assets. These loans are funded by donations from individuals and businesses who support financial growth in the Black community; as of right now, the Black community in Southern Cal.

 2. When Is It?

Now that you know what the Black Cooperative Investment Fund is, you’re probably interested in attending their salon, right? The event is TONIGHT, 1/11/18 from 6:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. in Los Angeles, California. As for the exact location, I can’t tell you because there’s only one way to access the specific location of the event: you have to buy a ticket. 3. Where Can I Buy A Ticket?

In the digital age, most questions can be answered by way of the internet. That’s where you can buy the tickets. If you visit www.bcifund.org, you’ll find out where to purchase tickets which are $70. If you don’t know whether or not you should go, ask yourself if you fall into these categories: looking to buy property, looking to renovate a property, starting a small business, or securing finances for your small business. Do you fall into either of the aforementioned categories? Then this is the salon for you.

Closing Remarks

If you’re Black and own a small business–or fit into either of the other categories–then you should get your tickets. Oh, and did I mention that Hollywood Lawyer Nina Shaw will be there? Don’t miss out.! Also, I intend to write more in depth and possibly conduct an interview with the BCIF in the near future. Stay Tuned… BCIF, Black, Cooperative, Investment, Funds]]>
