Now this is an event that I could get used to. This brunch is held monthly in the city’s newest upcoming restaurant, Fresh Mex & Co. With a nice spin on brunch food, utilizing TexMex flair, the Wave created this brunch for the Cultured Millennial. The Creators noticed that their target market was interested more in mingling and conversing than being on a dancefloor. This brunch is held every month and I’ve never seen so many beautiful, positive beings in one spot.

Keith Gardner, the creator of this amazing brunch, attended a small HBCU in Alabama. Noticing that different places throughout the United States were not taking advantage of the networking opportunities with the alumni that lived in their respective cities – The Wood was formed. With his business partner, Micheal Singletary, the brunch has expanded to Atlanta, GA (Negril Village), New York (Le Souk/Solomon & Kuff), Washington, DC (Redrocks), Los Angeles, CA (The Parlor) and Huntsville, Alabama. ]]>About Post Author
