according to multiple outlets.
H&M created an international firestorm after the picture made its way around the internet. Some accused H&M of intentionally using this image to get more eyes on its website and ultimately trying to boost sales, while others dismissed the Swedish clothing company as being tone deaf.
While Diddy has not confirmed the contract offer, he has definitely expressed his outrage over the incident, writing on Instagram, “Put some respect on it!! When you look at us make sure you see royalty and super natural God sent glory!! Anything else is disrespectful.”
His post featured artwork by Kervin Andre (@akomicsart)—a reimagined image of the young model with a large, gold crown on his head and a green sweatshirt reading, “Coolest King in the World.”
Social media users have expressed interest in hearing from the boy’s parents as to why and how this sweatshirt got approved. If the news of this contract is true, hopefully the wait won’t be too long.
Kudos may be in order to Diddy for stepping in, but either way, many strongly feel that H&M is still canceled until further notice.]]>
