Second Skin

Have you ever thought of your clothing as a second skin? Sylvester Ndhlovu, the founder of RavuAfricWear, does. When explained, it makes complete sense. But as Ndhlovu stated, these brands do not represent our culture nor our history. RavuAfricWear is a clothing brand that enables us to celebrate who we are and show pride in our Blackness. Standard of Beauty

Advertising dates back to Ancient Kemet. However, since the first paid advertisement was shared with others in 1836, European features (pale skin, blond hair, blue eyes) have been the standard of beauty.
