Irly Bird Kids is an educational book company focused on STEM and social and emotional learning (SEL) for children ages K- 3rd grade. The company was started by E. Warren Davis as an entrepreneurial venture to produce STEM and SEL content for elementary kids to create educational pathways into STEM fields.
“We believe that starting early is the way to create stable building blocks for the future.” emphasized Davis, who has a background in engineering.

According to his research, Davis says that two critical barriers to entry into the STEM field are the lack of diversity, and early exposure to math and science concepts. These factors fuel Davis’s work and Irly Bird Kids’ mission to ignite an early love for math, science, and reading.
The brand is most known for its edutainment, which combines kid-friendly illustrations and storylines with STEM concepts and vocabulary and literary skill development. Besides STEM, the brand also focuses on children’s social and emotional well-being with their SEL series. Irly Bird Kids understand that a good student is only as good as their learning environment and surroundings.

“SEL is a big issue in school because all the trauma children may experience at home can spill over into school and affect their learning process. Our series offers resources for parents and children to learn about the importance of SEL.” Davis added.
Irly Bird Kids has recently added animated audio and video books to the series that are incredibly easy to access and are also edu-tainment. Davis wants parents to know the importance of the videos, not only for their children but also for them. Peer engagement is essential for children’s learning process, but the Irly Bird Kids Series are so information-packed that parents can also learn about STEM and SEL.
The Series includes the safety series, SEL series, STEM series, and the Ivideo books. Each series contains videos starting at $2.99 each. The brand also offers bundles on the Ivideos: 4 for $9.95, 6 For $13.95, 8 for $17.95, 12 for $24.95.
