Sunny Martin gained nationwide notoriety as the CEO and founder of Who’s Who Publishing Company. In his twenty-plus years of leadership, Who’s Who expanded its brand of directories into 27 cities and markets. As a result, the company became recognized as the largest African-American directory publisher in the country. Sunny’s directories are responsible for featuring pictures and biographical data pertaining to influential and affluent African-American men and women from various communities and business career disciplines. Martin also led the company to publish similar directories targeted toward the Latino market for Who’s Who. Sunny Martin is has published more than sixty books and is an expert in multicultural marketing. He has met with four former Presidents because of his outstanding publishing achievements including former Presidents Barack Obama & Jimmy Carter. Sunny has sold more than 200,000 copies of his coffee table books. Martin has also produced many elite events at prestigious venues such as The Apollo Theatre in Harlem, Churchill Downs and The Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, KY, The Fox Theatre in St. Louis, and The Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles. Martin eventually sold The Who’s Who Publishing Company to a Michigan media outlet resulting in a multi-million-dollar deal transaction in 2009.
