When Black people get together, we play cards. Period. But with each book of Spades you win, who gets paid? Each time you see the Queen of Spades, do you see a Nubian Queen? The Black Pack is a Black owned playing cards company that is literally changing the face of the playing cards industry. The cookout will never be the same, again.

The Black Pack offers high quality, premium playing cards. Their designs are breathtaking. Each suit features a different theme in Black culture. Hearts are 1990’s culture, Spades African royalty, Diamonds 1970’s culture and Clubs reflect the Harlem Renaissance. You’ve never seen a deck of cards like this. In addition, the cards are seriously high quality. The Black Pack playing cards were carefully crafted to meet or surpass the most respected brands in the gaming industry.

Natalie Star and Melissa Carter-Chambers are the ladies behind this amazing brand. Natalie and her husband play Spades regularly. On September 16th of 2017 Natalie was in the mall with her daughter when she saw a deck of cards. She immediately thought it would be cool to have our own cards with catch phrases on the back like, “hustle” or “grind” and “dream.” The more she thought about it, however, it didn’t make sense to say “hustle” when, in fact, you’re playing cards. As she was sitting on a bench she looked at he daughter’s face and that’s when it hit her — we need cards that we can see ourselves on.

Natalie and Melissa met when they were merely 11 years of age and were instantly BFFs. The two often talked on the phone up to 10 hours a day, discussing everything from R&B to their favorite show, Martin. It just made sense for Natalie to approach her longtime friend, to pursue this venture with her. Soon after, they began working with a designer. It was nothing short of a miracle when that designer began to manifest the very images in their heads on the cards. By February of 2018 the pair were ready to offer their cards for pre-sale. They quickly realized they needed more.

The next month they officially launched the company and the reaction has been tremendous. From as far as Paris, France, customers have made it clear that they want something fresh and innovative in gaming. The Black Pack is satisfying that demand. Don’t let another kickback approach without cards that are in tune with the occasion. Support The Black Pack today!
