The Black and family-run business has been manufacturing personal care and household products since 1988. It all started when Uncle Ray was working as a paramedic in the 80s. He grew tired of the pungent odor that would linger in the employee bathroom. The products they were using weren’t working, so he set out to create his own odor eliminator.
Immediately he and other employees noticed that Uncle Ray’s formulation was more effective at deodorizing the bathroom. That’s when his signature bathroom spray was born.
Since then, Uncle Ray’s Products has created private label consumer goods, including body soaps, shampoos, and dish soaps for several Black-owned companies. Along with their Blooming Toilet Pre-Potty Spray, Uncle Ray also carries their own line of personal care products. Their Black Seed Oil line is the most popular among their brand.
