We Buy Black is the largest online marketplace for Black owned businesses on the planet but that’s not enough. We Buy Black has officially launched product fulfillment operations, with the ambition of being the largest distributor of Black owned products in the world. The day when Black people manufacture, distribute and buy their own products, the sky’s the limit.

There are thousands of Black entrepreneurs making quality products but there is a real issue with how to get those products into the hands of consumers, of all races. To date, the “holy grail” for Black entrepreneurs has been getting their products on the shelves of a major retailer or featured on Amazon. In either scenario, the competition is fierce and there simply isn’t room for everyone at the table. Further, big box stores and Amazon, frankly, end up taking most of the money. Without distribution, it’s simply not possible to grow and scale a business. Without the ownership of distribution channels, Black entrepreneurs are left to the whimsical mercy of others but that’s about to change.

We Buy Black is primed to give Black entrepreneurs a much needed boost and pipeline, directly to consumers. Distribution changes everything and shifts control back to our community. While many are calling for major retailers to “give” shelf space to Black owned businesses, controlling distribution is tantamount to building our own shelf, kitchen and dining room. When others control the distribution, you have to depend on their favor. When you control the distribution, however, you can’t be shutdown or shutout. Distribution is the key to real independence, in the products game and We Buy Black is helping to usher in that reality.

As a starting point, We Buy Black is offering consumers their very own “Big Black Bag” for purchase. Grab a gift bag of $25, $50 or $100 worth of amazing products from the African American community and get a FREE WeBuyBlack T-shirt! We Buy Black has handpicked the vendors to ensure your bags consist of top rated, highly demanded, and unique items. Products will cover various categories, such as Home and Living, Pantry items, Bath and Beauty, Health, clothing, games, books, etc. Go to webuyblack.com to get yours!

  6. Call it Mandingo meaning: The term Mandingo can refer to a West African ethnic group who originated from the upper region of the Niger River. … This word pronounced by the Mandingo themselves “Mandiña,” or even “Madiña.” It seems to be derived from the racial name Mande, coupled with the suffix nka or nke, meaning “people,” the people of Mande.

  9. GREAT NEWS! As a vendor on WBB I’m looking forward to using your service! I would LOVE to participate in the 2nd group of promotions via the ‘grab bags.’ How do we get our items considered? My email is SenegalStyle@gmail.com and I can’t wait to hear from you!

  10. Great News! This is something that only Amazon has been able to really offer while I know other big retailers have tried or are trying to offer a competitive service. Is this currently an invite-only fulfillment program? How many fulfillment centers?

  11. The opening is fantastic and much needed! We Buy Black (WBB) is steadily growing and developing and this expansion will be a major boost. When my family and I are searching for certain items, WBB is where we look first. I’ve also suggested to others to contact their public relations department to learn how to advertise/promote their products there. Furthermore, It would be a great concept if they decide to implement an annual membership also.
